Hamburg, 25. November 2021 | For the 19th time, Deloitte has presented the Technology Fast 50 Award to the fastest growing companies in the German technology sector. Nitrobox made it into the top 15 and was awarded 15th place. Nitrobox’s enormous growth over the past four years has transformed the company from a successful start-up into a global software provider – on a par with internationally recognized companies.Â
For the first time since the corona pandemic, the awards ceremony took place live on site in Berlin with numerous guests and award winners. The nominated companies were looking forward to their nomination at the Deloitte Technology Fast 50 Awards. Nitrobox achieved a fantastic ranking with 15th place among the fastest growing software companies. The evaluation criterion is the percentage sales growth over the past four financial years. Here Nitrobox was able to convince with 525.25 percent. Â
“It is amazing that Nitrobox is one of this year’s prize winners and that we are among the TOP 15 of the award-winning companies for the second time in a row,” said Henner Heistermann, founder and CEO of Nitrobox GmbH. “This award makes us very proud and once again confirms the great success of our smart Nitrobox cloud platform, which enables enterprises to realize and automate sophisticated digital business models in the shortest possible time,” Heistermann continued. “A very big thank you goes to our loyal customers and partners and our great Nitrobox team. The dedication of each and every one of them has contributed to this fantastic award.”Â
With the Technology Fast 50 Award, Deloitte annually honors the fastest growing technology companies in the fields of biotechnology & pharmaceuticals, energy technology, communication, digital content, media & entertainment, hardware, medical devices, software and FinTech.Â
“While digital technologies were still a nice-to-have a few years ago, a completely different picture has emerged: digital technologies are now an indispensable part of most companies because they make them fit for the future and provide them with innovative means to successfully master the challenges of our time,” says Dr. Andreas Gentner, Partner and Industry Lead Technology, Media and Telecommunications at Deloitte. “I wish our participants and award winners all the best for their entrepreneurial future. Their success inspires optimism for Germany as a tech location.Â
The first Technology Fast 50 competition was held in the USA in 1995. In Germany, Deloitte has been awarding the prize to fast-growing technology companies for nineteen years now.Â
